Coppice & Crown’s Ash flooring was used in this small room within a barn conversion. The property owners wanted a warm yet bright natural woodfloor to give a small space as much light as possible. The solid wood flooring is used over under floor heating.
The owners of the barn wanted to stay as close to nature as possible in their home and wanted to only use natural products throughout. The importance of using sustainable wood flooring was high, and with no glues, chemical or pesticides used in the process of crafting our natural wood floors, it was the perfect choice.
This room in the house offers a tranquil space for the couple to enjoy after a long days work. With a door opening onto the garden with unspoilt views, the couple can sit back and relax. Using some of our wide plank flooring in this room created a depth that joined into the nature outdoors.
Cladding has been used on one of the walls with the Ash flooring, which adds a tone of warmth for the winter months, and a natural vibe for the summer months. The wooden panelling and the Ash flooring compliment each other and have created a room that feels close to nature.
