Ash Flooring Estimator

Light in colour with an occasional subtle blush and soft olive woven undertones. Darker tones that ribbon through the boards add depth and character to the wood flooring, with character displayed through occasional knots. It is a less knotty wood than our Oak ranges, and suits simple designs. The boards can be easily stained to create a darker wood flooring or whitewashed for a Scandinavian style light wood flooring. Soon to be a limited style of flooring as a result of Ash dieback in the UK, our Ash flooring offers a unique piece of nature for your home that will last for generations to come.

FAQs for Ash Flooring

  • Do I need to sand the boards?

The boards are planed to a smooth finish all round. Some customers sand the boards to create a softer velvet feel, which we would recommend.

  • Can I request no olive/more olive tones?

Yes, we can have this conversation and depending on your requirements, accommodate your design.

  • Can you plane these to a different depth?

We can on request, but this is the best depth for the nature of the board.

  • Can I use these in a bathroom?

Yes, but we would advise using an extra coat of your finishing product on top.
