Beams Product Estimator

  • To get started click the button below labelled 'Add Entry' and fill in the form with your beam requirements, you will need to enter width (in mm), height (in mm), length (in metres) and choose between Grade A or B from the drop down menu. Click 'Add To Quote'. You are able to add multiple beam requirements to one quote. By submitting your quote your estimate will be emailed as a pdf attachment to you and UK Hardwoods, (please check your junk folder).

Used in restoration projects, conversions, garden designs and building projects, our green oak beams and air dried selections can be cut to size for your project. We’re able to expertly saw our green Oak into lengths and widths, providing you with Oak posts for any requirement. We only ever use UK sourced trees from managed and certified woodlands. We can supply in various grades, and are renowned for our quality  and durability of our structural timber.

FAQs for Beams Products

  • Air dried or green?

    This depends on your project specifications. If you are fitting it internally, the air dried will be favourable.

  • Do the beams need sanding?

    It depends what you’re using it for, but our saw cuts a very smooth finish, so usually not.

  • What is A grade quality?

    A grade is our top quality with no wane and small knots.

  • What is B grade quality?

    B grade is up to 2.5% wane and larger knots with occasional sapwood.
